PHEW.
Had Chinese Orchestra try-outs today.
Tried 7 instuments.
Dizi, Pipa, Zhongruan, Cello, Percussion-drums, Yangqin and Liuqin.
The senior wanted to grade me for Liuqin but i said no, not suitable for my image-the instrument i mean. More for people like Gina. Heh.
There were 5 types of gradings: Poor, below average, average, good and very good.
My try outs for dizi was a average +. Then Cello and Yangqin was average. Pipa, Zhongruan and Percussion drums were under good. Hahaha. Amazing!-for a person who never learns music much before. I only played recorder, anklung and this...instrument-i dont know what's the name of it, but its like a xylophone though. Anyway, we're supposed to arrange 3 instruments according to our liking and ability-whether what you taking up in CO next year. I put Dizi, Pipa then Zhongruan. Should have replace Zhongruan as Percussion. =X

Oh wells, i hope i can catch up the others in Dizi cause im not as good at it, only an average. Now, my only problem is to join either Ambassadorial Team or Sakuran Japanese Club as my second CCA. Sigh! Asking Jonathan and Huixian for opinions. x)
